Oakhaven was out to avenge their 20-26 loss to KIPP Collegiate from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Oakhaven took a 20-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of KIPP Collegiate. This makes it the second loss in a row for Oakhaven.
The loss dropped Oakhaven back to even at 1-1. The win bumped KIPP Collegiate's record up to 1-0.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Oakhaven are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Union City next week at 7:30 PM. As for KIPP Collegiate, they will face off against Christian Brothers.
