Peck took a hard 53-37 fall against Kingston on Thursday. Peck has struggled against Kingston recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Peck lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thomas West, who scored seven points along with 14 rebounds and two steals. West is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Heiden, who scored 13 points.
Kingston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Corlis, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Corlis has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Austin Deroseau was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Peck's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Kingston, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
