Meanwhile, Danville's 12-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They came out on top against Mt. Gilead by a score of 58-47. That looming 58-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Danville yet this season.
Centerburg's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Danville, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13.
Centerburg skirted past Danville 59-56 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centerburg since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
