The Homefires Flames's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They managed a 42-38 win over Calvary Baptist Christian Academy. The victory was just what Homefires needed coming off of a 82-49 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Homefires to victory were Reagan Rademacher and Colin Chesnut. Rademacher scored 15 points, while Chesnut scored 18 points. Chesnut is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season.
Homefires' victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Calvary Baptist Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Homefires will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against First Baptist Academy at 9:30 a.m. on January 13th. First Baptist Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. Calvary Baptist Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on First Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
