After two games on the road, Spanish Fork is heading back home. They will take on the Cedar Valley Aviators at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Spanish Fork is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game this season.

 In other batting news,  Jade Romero was  excellent,  going 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.  Lia Higginson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Cedar Valley suffered a  rough 11-5 defeat at the hands of Maple Mountain  on Tuesday. Cedar Valley has not had much luck with Maple Mountain recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
  Eva Okusi was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maddalynn Jensen, who  went 4-for-4 with a  double.
 Even though they lost, Cedar Valley  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Maple Mountain only tossed three.
 Spanish Fork's win was  their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-2. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 10.7 runs. As for Cedar Valley, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 9-4.
 Both Spanish Fork and Cedar Valley just can't seem to miss. Spanish Fork has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.3  hits per game. However, it's not like Cedar Valley struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.
