Douglass' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kwari Harvey, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds, and Jordan Jackson who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Harvey scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of makhye mcknight, who scored five points.
Blake's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Douglass, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.
Blake will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Riverdale Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Riverdale Baptist has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 514 points over their last eight games. As for Douglass, they will play host again and welcome Bladensburg, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bladensburg is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
