Woodsboro extended the longest winning streak in 1A-2 Region IV District 14 this week by beating Benavides, 53-6. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Eagles.
Woodsboro led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on the Eagles.
Falls City's Cameron Soto and Phillip Lyssy have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Soto has thrown for 762 yards this season, while Lyssy has 17 catches for 196 yards. Runge's Dylan Torres leads the league in rushing yards with 635.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Yellowjackets take on Brad Vickers' team. Runge has allowed 25 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 73.
