Basketball Recap: Conestoga Christian Takes a Loss

Conestoga Christian was the 34-30 winner over High Point Baptist Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Conestoga Christian Cougars took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the High Point Baptist Academy Eagles on Monday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Conestoga Christian lost, don't look at Katie Denlinger. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points and five steals. Denlinger is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Hails, who scored four points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds.

Conestoga Christian's record now sits at 10-9. As for High Point Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Conestoga Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 35-31 loss against Octorara Area on the 4th. High Point Baptist Academy has also already played their next match (against Lincoln Leadership Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
