Ellinwood put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 74-8 win over the Chase Kats. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ellinwood found their leader in sophomore Reece Stickney, who went 8 of 18 en route to 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayla Ritchie, who posted seven points in addition to 11 boards and three steals.

Ellinwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Ellinwood pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Chase, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Ellinwood will host St. John on Tuesday. St. John will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Ellinwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chase, they will square off against Macksville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
