The Oxford Hornets will take on the Bishop Shanahan Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Oxford will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Oxford had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Great Valley on Wednesday. The Hornets blew past the Patriots 12-1.

Oxford got a massive performance out of Bella Harris, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave Harris a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Polita, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Oxford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Great Valley only posted a batting average of .222.
Meanwhile, Bishop Shanahan came into Monday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Henderson on Monday. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Warriors on their field since May 17, 2022.
Hailey Shapiro spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mikayla Palantino, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Audrey Hudecki also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Bishop Shanahan's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Oxford, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
Everything went Oxford's way against Bishop Shanahan when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Oxford made off with an 11-5 win. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
