It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Dr. Krop ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Jackson 66-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Dr. Krop has posted yet this season.
Dr. Krop's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joseph Washington, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Washington has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played. Emmanuel Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Palmetto gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 93-70 margin over Hialeah. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Palmetto has posted since January 4th.
Palmetto's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Samfree Sarante, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 1 assist, and Santiago Henriquez, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 assists. Henriquez hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Lipson, who scored 13 points along with six assists.
The victory got Dr. Krop back to even at 8-8. As for Palmetto, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
