Leading Trinity Christian Academy to victory were Cenzie Pyeatt and Faith Nutt. Pyeatt scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals, while Nutt scored 21 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Pyeatt has scored at least 25% of Trinity Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Stephens, who scored 8 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals.
Excel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
