Monroeville extended their  winning streak to 12 games  thanks to a huge performance from  Addison Homan. The Eagles came out on top against the Crestview Cougars by a score of  3-1  on Tuesday with plenty of help from  Homan, who  had 36  digs and two assists. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 14 or more in each of the last 19 games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Monroeville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-18, 26-24,  25-23.
 Despite the  defeat, Crestview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Emma Horner  had 13  digs.
Monroeville's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Crestview, they moved to 12-5 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Monroeville will  challenge  rival Western Reserve  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crestview is set to  face off against  their familiar foe New London  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
