A District 7 recap November 13, 2013
JR Wakley of Yale ran for the longest rushing play in A District 7 this season against Regent Prep last week. Wakley scampered for 66 yards on the play and finished with 111 on the day as his team bested Regent Prep.
Morrison extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Kiefer, 32-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Yale's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wakley threw for 120 yards and Konner Fowler had 65 yards receiving. On the ground Eric Hambrick chipped in 270 yards. Devion Saunders helped Yale's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.
Craig Ellis' team's dynamic duo of Wakley and Fowler proved tough for Mike Christie's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Saunders helped Yale's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.
Hambrick was a passing and rushing force as the Bulldogs beat Regent Prep. Hambrick's key target this week was Fowler, who caught 4 passes for 65 yards.

Kiefer's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Rovang has thrown for 911 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Trysten Edwards has 25 catches for 573 yards.
Morrison made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,652 from 7,264. The advance stemmed from a 32-6 victory over the Trojans last week.
