Georgetown's and Lynn Vo-Tech's game last Friday was up for grabs at halftime, but Georgetown were thoroughly outmatched in the second half. Georgetown suffered a grim 15-43 defeat to Lynn Vo-Tech. The state rankings had actually given Georgetown a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Ipswich had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 21-14 victory over Lynnfield.
Georgetown took a serious blow against Ipswich the last time the two teams met, falling 6-53. Can Georgetown avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
