The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ponca City, who took down 82nd ranked Enid, 21-20. Jake Didlake threw for 75 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 30 yards in the win.
The Wildcats moved up to 117 from 159 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 6A District 1. Ponca City was able to make the jump by defeating the Plainsmen 21-20.
Stillwater's dynamic duo of Taggart Brown and Brandon Prather proved tough for Bartlesville to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brown threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns and Prather had 105 yards receiving. Davyn Thompson helped Stillwater's passing attack out by catching two balls for 48 yards.
Rueben Farmer made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Pioneers lost to the Bruins. The 5-foot-11 junior recorded one fumble.
Nick Hamilton was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 69 yards on 14 carries as Josh Allen's team fell to Bartlesville.
Thanks to the talents of Hunter Atyia and Justin Silmon Union has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Atyia leads the league in passing with 1221 yards, while Silmon has rushed for 489 yards this season. Tucker Barnard's team's Prather leads the league in receiving yards with 657 on 43 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Page takes on the Pioneers. At the moment, the Sandites are in first, while Stillwater is in sixth.
Owasso extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 1 this week by beating Washington, 42-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
