It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Thomas Aquinas had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  77-38 victory over the Boyd Anderson Cobras. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11  matches by 21  points or more this season.
 St. Thomas Aquinas found their leader in sophomore  Clarence Westbrook Jr., who  went 13 of 17  on his way to 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Westbrook Jr. has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Drake (DJ) Sandi, who  posted seven  points along with ten  assists and three  steals.
 Several Cobras players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Niteno Pierre, who  scored six points and six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Terrence Walker, who  had ten  points.
The  win was  the eighth in a row for St. Thomas Aquinas, bringing their record for this year to 24-2. As for Boyd Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
 St. Thomas Aquinas will take on Coral Springs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Coral Springs knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully St. Thomas Aquinas likes a good challenge. Boyd Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
