KIPP College Prep was led to victory by Joey Mitchell and Mikah Prescott-Bell. Mitchell scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals, while Prescott-Bell scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Prescott-Bell scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dajuan Jones, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Paul Public Charter International has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for KIPP College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.
