The Granby Memorial Bears can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 65-41 margin over Bolton. This was payback for Granby Memorial, who suffered a 52-38 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Bolton still got an impressive performance from Somari Brown, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Baranov, who scored nine points.
Granby Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Bolton, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Granby Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bolton, they will head out on the road to face off against Coventry at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bolton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
