There's no place like home for the North Side Gators, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Leflore County 39-21 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as North Side also won the last time the pair played last Wednesday.
Despite the defeat, Leflore County saw an underclassman step up: Malia Dixon scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Dixon continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
North Side is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Leflore County, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
North Side will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Greenwaves at 6:00 p.m. As for Leflore County, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
