Benjamin Logan has gone 8-1 against Bellefontaine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Raiders will take on the Chieftains in a tournament on Wednesday. Benjamin Logan will be strutting in after a victory while Bellefontaine will be coming in after a defeat.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Benjamin Logan turned things around against Riverside on Thursday. They never let the Pirates get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Raiders yet this season.
Bryden Morris made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Benjamin Logan is 5-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 6-11 otherwise. Morris was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
In other pitching news, Adam Tinsman looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Benjamin Logan is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-11 otherwise.

Back at the plate, Oliver Morse was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Benjamin Logan: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 8-12 otherwise. Carter Lyden was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Benjamin Logan hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverside struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Bellefontaine's offense. They came up short against Tecumseh on Thursday, falling 12-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Chieftains in their meetings with the Arrows: they've now lost four in a row.
Bellefontaine's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Benjamin Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
Benjamin Logan was able to grind out a solid win over Bellefontaine when the teams last played back in April, winning 9-4. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chieftains turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
