After flying high against the Oelrichs Tigers last Monday, the Edgemont Moguls came back down to earth. Edgemont was the victim of a rough 67-44 loss at the hands of Hulett on Tuesday. Edgemont has not had much luck with Hulett recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Edgemont had strong showings from Keaton Darrow, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Sebastian Morse, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Darrow is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Chase Alexander was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Edgemont's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Hulett, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
Edgemont will head out on the road to take on Oelrichs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hulett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arvada-Clearmont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hulett is facing Arvada-Clearmont at the right time seeing as Arvada-Clearmont is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
