Trinity Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Edgewater as Trinity Christian Academy made off with a 16-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Trinity Christian Academy.

Keyrstin Beckett and Charleigh Morasse were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Beckett pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Morasse tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Beckett a new career-low in walks (zero). At the plate, Beckett scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while Morasse went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. In other batting news, Trinity Christian Academy let Kaitlyn Manzano and Kay'La Jones run wild. Manzano went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Jones went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Jones has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nataly Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Trinity Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Seabreeze waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Green Wave. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Sandcrabs have posted against the Green Wave since April 12, 2018.
The team relied heavily on Kyra McLin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stole at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Addison Montalvo was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Trinity Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Seabreeze, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Trinity Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .492. However, it's not like Seabreeze struggles in that department as they've averaged .509. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
