Cornerstone Christian pushed their score all the way to 15 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took  an  18-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redlands Adventist Academy Bulldogs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Tuesday (13), Cornerstone Christian still had to take the loss.
  Jazlynn Rader was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned run or  hits. Rader was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Cornerstone Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Natalie Alexander, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Alicia Lopez, who  scored three  runs and  stole six bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Cornerstone Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, their victory  ended  an  eight-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 1-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian will  challenge San Jacinto Valley Academy at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Cornerstone Christian knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully San Jacinto Valley Academy likes a good challenge. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  River Springs Charter School Magnolia at 2:30  p.m.  on Monday. Redlands Adventist Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
