The Klein Collins Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 22 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 60-20 victory over Paetow on the road. The win was nothing new for Klein Collins as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Leading Klein Collins to victory were Christin Callens and A'niyah Harmon. Callens dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Harmon scored 18 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Callens has scored at least 25% of Klein Collins' points. Brooklyn Bailey was another key contributor, scoring two points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Klein Collins pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Paetow, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
Klein Collins is on the road again on Friday and play against Klein Cain at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Klein Cain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 561st, while Klein Collins is ranked 80th). As for Paetow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Katy Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
