The Manasquan Warriors were the 35-14 winner over the Wall Township Crimson Knights when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Manasquan and Wall Township were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but Manasquan suffered an agonizing 21-20 defeat. Despite 77 more yards than Wall Township, Manasquan couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Manasquan's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Frank Furfaro, who rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Wall Township's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Olsen, who threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
This is the second loss in a row for Manasquan and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Wall Township, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Manasquan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wall Township also has no future games currently scheduled.
