Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern). They put the hurt on North Bullitt with a sharp 42-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Eastern, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Eastern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Bullitt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Eastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-2 win against Pleasure Ridge Park on the 18th. As for North Bullitt, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Larue County at 6:00 p.m. The Hawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
