Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Manchester Blue Devils walked away with it. They blew past Mt. Zion 49-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Manchester, who have now won six games by 32 points or more so far this season.
Darius Favors was on fire: he rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiwan Anderson, who rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown.
Manchester is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Mt. Zion, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Manchester will face off against Johnson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson County will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
