The Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They managed a 51-45 victory over Amanda-Clearcreek. For Bloom-Carroll, this counts as revenge for the 39-36 loss the Aces walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Leading Bloom-Carroll to victory were Tessa Brooks and Emily Bratton. Brooks scored 19 points, while Bratton scored 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brooks has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marissa Wilkinson, who scored six points.
Bloom-Carroll has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloom-Carroll will take on the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton Township will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 85th). As for Amanda-Clearcreek, they will play host again and welcome the Vikings, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Teays Valley is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
