With a playoff win on the line, Riverton rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Herriman Mustangs. The Silverwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matches by six runs or more this season.
Peyton Sanchez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Maggie Hamblin was incredible, firing off two home runs, three RBI, and one stolen base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.
