The Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars lost against the Twin River Titans back in February of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The game between Lyons-Decatur Northeast and the Titans wasn't particularly close, with the Cougars falling 58-41.
Tavyanna Parker and Aubrey Andersen certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Parker scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks, while Andersen scored eight points.
Lyons-Decatur Northeast has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Twin River, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyons-Decatur Northeast will take on the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wisner-Pilger has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Twin River, they will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Howells-Dodge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Titans in Nebraska (the Jaguars are ranked 70th, while the Titans are ranked 217th).
