The Dayton Dust Devils will take on the Debbie Smith CTE Academy Mavericks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dayton has six straight victories, Debbie Smith CTE Academy has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While Dayton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Wooster on Friday as they made off with a 20-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Dust Devils, who have now won five matchups by 14 runs or more so far this season.
