Baseball Recap: Seton Lasalle Has No Trouble Against Keystone Oaks

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seton LaSalle). Everything went their way against the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles on Tuesday as Seton LaSalle made off with a 10-1 victory. The Rebels have beaten the Golden Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Golden Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Mike Cejrowski Jr. made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. Cejrowski Jr. was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run.

In other batting news, Josh Burkholder was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dacien Loman, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Seton LaSalle now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Keystone Oaks, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Seton LaSalle will face off against Charleroi at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Keystone Oaks, they will head out to take on Quaker Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
