Glens Falls is 0-10 against Queensbury since April of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Black Bears will face off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Glens Falls sitting on three straight wins and Queensbury on seven.
While Glens Falls' victory against Lake George wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Bears had just enough and edged out the Lakers 9-7. While the Black Bears didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chace Davidson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Steven Endieveri, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Queensbury got the win against Broadalbin-Perth on Friday by a conclusive 16-5. Considering the Spartans have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Tyler Dorvee, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Nathan Sheerer was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Queensbury kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Queensbury pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Glens Falls, their record is now 6-3-1.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Glens Falls has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Queensbury struggles in that department as they've averaged .450. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
