Vero Beach extended the longest winning streak in 8A District 8 this week by beating Treasure Coast, 42-9. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Indians.
Vero Beach took down Treasure Coast 42-9 last week, the largest margin of any game. Dalton Stokes threw for 108 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 77 yards in the win.
Lenny Jankowski's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jimmy Williamson helped Vero Beach's passing attack out by catching four balls for 32 yards.
Jamario Lambert was the best wideout in the league this week as the Indians defeated Treasure Coast. Lambert tallied four receptions for 35 yards.
Vero Beach's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Stokes has thrown for 1670 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Will Dawkins has 25 catches for 442 yards. Jason Pierre leads the league in rushing with 359 yards.
