West Lincoln came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against East Burke, but Barger Shook wouldn't allow it. The East Burke Cavaliers took down the West Lincoln Rebels 56-37 on Wednesday thanks to Shook, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Jay Dixon was another key player, putting up ten points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

East Burke's record now sits at 10-13. As for West Lincoln, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Burke will host West Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Burke has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three matches. As for West Lincoln, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lincolnton at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincolnton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 77 points per game this season.
