Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill won the last time they faced Neuse Christian Academy and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Lion blew past the Lions 16-2. The Lion might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 12  runs or more this season.
 Andrew Cavender made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He is becoming a predictor of Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's success: when he allows at  most one  hit the team is undefeated (and 4-7 when he doesn't). Cavender was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Dalton Burgin was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in May of 2024.  Nathaniel Allen was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .579. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  win  got Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill back to even at 7-7. As for Neuse Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-5.
