Clinton Prairie's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tipton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Tipton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Clinton Prairie has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. It's a different story for Tipton, though, as they've only averaged .331. Will they be able to contain Clinton Prairie's hitters?
