Skyview blew Vallivue out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Vallivue got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 9-7. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Henry Downey and Ledger Downs did some serious damage despite the final result: Downey scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Downs scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. John Tyson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Skyview's loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Vallivue, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyview will head out to square off against Bishop Kelly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Vallivue, they will head out on the road to face off against Caldwell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
