Even though the St. Brendan Sabres scored an imposing 60 points on Wednesday, the Reagan Bison still came out on top. Reagan had just enough and edged St. Brendan out 63-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Reagan.
Reagan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Martinez, who scored 27 points. The contest was Martinez's third in a row with at least ten points. Isaiah Lindor was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Reagan's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Brendan, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Reagan won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against South Dade at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. As for St. Brendan, they will face off against Westminster Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Westminster Christian will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
