Basketball Recap: Taconic Hills Extends Winning Streak to Three

Taconic Hills had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-37 W against the Cairo-Durham Mustangs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Taconic Hills pushed their record up to 5-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Cairo-Durham, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Taconic Hills will take on Catskill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cairo-Durham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hudson at 6:30 p.m.
