The Cooter Wildcats waltzed into Saturday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators at home to the tune of 82-30. Fans of Cooter have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cooter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyson Banks, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was Banks' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Gunnels, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds.
Cooter's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cooter will challenge Southland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Home Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on December 30th.
