Leading Louisville Saints HomeSchool to victory were Hannah Simmon and Lucy Greeley. Simmon scored 17 points along with five assists, while Greeley went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 3 assists. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah McCartney, who scored six points.
Fairdale's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.6 points per game. As for Louisville Saints HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Fairdale won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Iroquois at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Iroquois is ranked 212th, while Fairdale is ranked 210th). Louisville Saints HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Louisville Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
