Arlington's Lavell Thomas rumbled for the longest rushing play in Inland Valley this season in his game against Vista del Lago last week. Thomas ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 150 on the day as his team beat the Ravens.
Poly extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Canyon Springs, 37-22. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Poly's dynamic duo of Chandler Drachslin and Ykili Ross proved to be unstoppable against the Cougars, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Drachslin threw for 251 yards and 3 touchdowns and Ross had 123 yards receiving. Mitchell McLaughlin helped Poly's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 78 yards.
He was 17-27 with 0 interception.
TERRELL LEE was a beast in the backfield as Vista del Lago fell to Arlington.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Hakeem Eubanks. The Valley View star has 24 catches for 359 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Dennis Brown's team takes on Rancho Verde. At the moment, the Bears are in first, while the Mustangs are in third.
JW North lost to Rancho Cucamonga 59-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
