Carver had to endure a 16-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the W D Mohammed Caliphs with a sharp 67-47 victory on Monday. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Carver's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for W D Mohammed, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Carver will be home for the holidays to greet McNair at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for W D Mohammed, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Loganville Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on December 27th.
