Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakmont Regional). They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over the Fitchburg Red Raiders on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory snapped Oakmont Regional's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Fitchburg, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Oakmont Regional will venture away from home to take on Shepherd Hill Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shepherd Hill Regional will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Oakmont Regional surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fitchburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wachusett Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
