The Dawson Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 91-46 win over Alief Hastings at home. The win was nothing new for Dawson as they're now sitting on six straight.
Alief Hastings' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Amari Wilkerson, who scored 15 points, and Giovanni Bernal who scored six points.
Dawson has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Alief Hastings, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-11.
Dawson will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Dobie at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Alief Hastings will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shadow Creek at 1:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Shadow Creek will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
