The Trenton Tigers will face off against the Williston Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trenton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
Trenton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Moore Haven get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Addison Allaire was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run.
In other batting news, Makenna Young was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Trenton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Williston, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over Fort Meade on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since March 10th.
Williston let Jayla Coleman and Baylee Cribbs run wild. Coleman went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Cribbs went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave Cribbs a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Bertrand, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Trenton pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Williston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Trenton hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Williston struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Trenton was able to grind out a solid victory over Williston when the teams last played last Thursday, winning 6-2. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
