Volleyball Recap: Thornwell Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Thornwell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chester Cyclones on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Thornwell was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 29-27, 25-13.

The win got Thornwell back to even at 3-3. As for Chester, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Thornwell will face off against McCormick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chester, they will challenge Great Falls at 7:00 p.m. on September 3.
