If Brooklyn was looking for revenge after losing 67-37 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
When it comes to explaining why Brooklyn lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashlyn Dyson. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 71.4% of Brooklyn's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alice Pham, who scored four points.
Brooklyn's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lutheran West, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Brooklyn will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Medina Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 25.5 points per game this season, so the Hurricanes' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lutheran West, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bison at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Beachwood has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 9.
